To receive sms abroad (for logins etc.) your balance should be more than 0.
You can easily top up your balance via apple/googlepay

Deposits in the Credo App
Georgian banks offer relatively high yearly yeild on deposits (9-11%)
If you have a large sum on the account, you can put it into the term deposit or deposit certificate.
You can play around with the duration and amount in the credo app.
In case you have a VIP package, you can tell your personal banker how much you want to put into the deposit and for how long and they will suggest you the best option or get special terms, in case the sum is large (usually over 25.000 Lari)
